We were provided the feature to specify a Device Type (by a different name) for the same underlying Device make/model/vendor so that for some of those devices, we could use different polling intervals (e.g. 10, 15, 30 minutes) to reduce bandwidth. HOWEVER, the Device Type requires a Device Attribute Poller who's value is used in AutoConfiguration Rules. But, since the Attribute Poller cannot re-use the same Attribute Name, we would have to add an extension to each name (which from a GUI perspective for end users would be confusing), but then each of those permutations would be required to ADD to the Autoconfiguration rules.
