When a template is removed from a device (e.g. a device is removed from functional group A with template AT and added to functional group B with template BT) any service or threshold checks defined in AT will be "orphaned" on the device. I understand that if the names of those service checks match then the service checks in BT will replace those in AT...but that doesn't apply to Threshold checks. Meanwhile, if the check doesn't exist in BT, then the checks or thresholds in AT will be "orphaned"...and there is no way to remove them without significant manual intervention.

Problem Statement
When a template is no longer applied to a device there should be the option to no longer apply the template service checks and threshold checks to the device. |
