Be able to group interfaces on a device into a logical group, with a setting on the group for how the status of the interfaces in the group 'roll up' to provide the interface group status.
i.e. show worst or best state as the group state.
It would also be great to have these Interface groups exposed to interface tags allowing the group to be tagged acordingly so it can be used in the site status calculation.
Example: A device that use multiple cellular SIM's for it's backup connectivity, each SIM provides an interface on the device, however the unit only has a single radio anntena. This results in one of the interfaces that represents the SIM currently not in use as operationally down, which is fine provided that the other SIM interface is up. Therefore in this use case the group would configured to 'best state' and would show as up, in the event of both SIM interfaces being operationally down the group would show as down.

it may be possible to achieve this end goal by adding another tag value representing "primary OR" into the interface tagging strategy / site status logic. -- IF a transition in site status were able to raise an incident in and of itself. We could tag the interfaces in question with "primary-or" but NOT "monitor" (as we suppress incidents on non-tagged ports by default; this would prevent incidents from being raised on the interfaces ), and then rely on the "site status logic" to determine "all primary-or are down, transition site status to 'on backup' and raise an incident"
