Currently, the Cisco Wireless poller is keying off the name or IP of a device before adding it into the system. In scenarios where the IP and name of a device are unique, but the serial was the same, the devices is not seen as a duplicate so it gets added.
To help prevent this from occurring, we suggest an additional check for serial # to make sure the device is not a duplicate.
