Currently, for an incident to get created, a Service Check must fail 3 times by default but is configurable. These initial failures are soft check failures. After the configured number of times a check must fail the soft checks, a hard failure occurs and an incident is created.
When we navigate to the incident details page of the created incident, the soft checks are not recorded and displayed in this page. Sometimes, the check will fluctuate between Open, Alarms Cleared and Closed, however, there is no information about the soft check failures that occur in between. We only display the State Changes, which are the hard check failures.
Displaying these soft check failures in the incident details page will allow customers to better troubleshoot their incidents, especially their WebART failures.
