Ability to Define a Dynamic Device Attribute that Populates Host Resource Information

An example would be a device that responds to custom OIDs to get Software Version or Serial Number.

By creating a dynamic device attribute with a name that triggers internal logic, the results can be stored in host information.

Example defining "software_version" populates the SW version or using "serial" will populate the serial attribute.

This allowing these custom calls to populate the data we use when generating the Inventory report, or respective API calls.
